Black Friday is here and many of you will shop on Amazon. If you do, please consider using the AAR link. As you probably know, AAR gets 4% of certain of your purchases (gift cards, Amazon Pantry, and a few other departments are excluded.) Our Amazon revenue is our number one source of site support.

We only get the credit if you click in from our link and buy on that visit. If you store things in your cart and come back and buy them later, we do not get the 4%.

To inspire you, we’ve made an AAR 2020 Holiday gift list— we hope there’s something on it that might bring joy to you or a loved one!

And to our American readers–Happy Thanksgiving. In this very difficult year, our readers are one of the things we are most grateful for!

  1. Will do! And Happy Thanksgiving to you! My DH and I are having it a deux this year here in England later today. Pumpkin pie is already in the oven. Yum!

  2. Happy Thanksgiving! I picked up the wireless charger as I have meaning to get one for myself.

I will peruse the offerings in greater detail later.

  3. Just to let you know, Dabney, that when using your link above, I get sent to Amazon.com but when I use the link under one of the book reviews, I get sent straight to Amazon.co.uk which is where I need to be and where I have made some purchases so I hope that you get the relevant “credits”.

  4. I just tried clicking the link on the frontpage (“As an Amazon Associate, AAR earns from qualifying purchases. Please use our affiliate links or this page to shop. Thank you!”), and it opens directly on Amazon.com. I think there’s usually a ref=[something or other] included in the URL (?), but it’s currently missing, so I’m not sure if it actually reads it as a referral from AAR.
