Here are just a few of the March releases the world is chatting about. Are any of them on your radar? If not, what is?

  1. My plans for March:

I have Dani Collins and Tara Pammi new HP on preorder, WR Gingell final book in her series World Behind ( I enjoyed World Between series a lot, Urban Fantasy with a minor romance line), and Bliss Bennett book 2 of her Ladies of Audley – the first was great, based on recommendation here.

Also, Dani Collins has a series starting, Raven’s Cove. I like her non HP books even more than the series, so I look forward to that.

LJ Breedlove Alpha werewolf series -she writes fast- has a next book out in March, too.
I loved Jax Calder Anonymous Hookup – such a sweet quick read – that I look forward to the Unforgettable Hookup – same story from the other man’s pov.

From above, I am watching the Veronica Speedwell series. I read book one, and did not like it as much as Lady Grey, so I was waiting how the series goes/ends, and from reviews here, I am glad. I do not feel like reading a long series that does not conclude. Or does not end in a satisfying conclusion.

I have mixed feelings about Kate Clayborn, I tend to lose interest in the middle of her books, for different reasons, I will wait for reviews.

  2. In addition to Claire Kingsley’s STORMS AND SECRETS (mentioned above), I’m looking forward to the following March releases:

LEFT ON READ by Willow Dixon (March 7) is the fourth book in her Crimson Club series of m/m romances featuring at least one MC who dances at the title club. LEFT ON READ is a strangers-to-friends-to-lovers story of two men who grow closer when one is looking for his tools that were stolen from a construction site. Dixon was one of my “discoveries” last year. I really enjoy how she tends to avoid the big third-act misunderstanding and finds other ways to inject drama and tension into the story.

BLUE MOON by Skye Warren (March 12) is part of the 1001 Dark Nights franchise and is a novella that is related to Warren’s Cirque du Miroirs series. It involves the ringmaster of the Cirque du Miroirs and a trapeze artist from another circus who is attempting to escape from her dominating father.

ETERNALLY BLESSED by Garrett Leigh (March 21) is the 7th book in her Rebel Kings series of motorcycle club romances. It’s also the second book, after UNHOLY TRINITY, to feature three characters who are in an MMF relationship. UNHOLY TRINITY ended on a cliffhanger, so I’m expecting ETERNALLY BLESSED to pick up right where the other left off. The Rebel Kings books are on the dark and violent side with characters who have to overcome emotional challenges—and I anticipate that ETERNALLY BLESSED will be no different.

THE SCORING SECRET by Ainsley Booth (March 22) is the second book in her Off the Ice series of hockey romances. It’s blurbed as “‘You’ve Got Mail’ for the Tinder generation.” The book’s publication date has been postponed several times, so I’m not holding my breath for it to make March 22!

A TYCOON TOO WILD TO WED by Caitlin Crews (March 26) is an HP (which should be obvious from the title) in which a couple must marry to fulfill the provisions of a will. I expect the usual round of angsty heartache and euphemistically-expressed sexy-times that are part of Crews’s stock-in-trade.

  3. Annabeth Albert has book 1 in a new series out March 28th, Up All Night which I’m looking forward to. I’m also interested in the Jax Calder book Liesolotte mentioned, Unforgettable Hookup, but I need to read book 1 first. There are probably a few I’m missing, but it feels like a lean month for new books I’m interested in. I have tons of books still on my TBR pile so I won’t be at a loss for things to read, though.

    1. I’ve got my eye on both those, too – I just read The Anonymous Hookup and it was really good. But March is a pretty lean month for me, too. I just read a new book from H.L Day which wasn’t bad (Deader Than Dead) and I enjoyed The Family Man by new-to-me author AJ Rose (romantic suspense). I often check out these lists at GR which tend to be pretty comprehensive when I’m looking for new m/m releases.

      1. OH MY GOSH! Thank you for sharing this link!! (There are way, way more all caps and exclamation points in my head.)

        1. You’re most welcome 🙂 If you scroll down to the comments, you’ll see links to the lists for April onwards.

      2. That’s a great resource, Caz! Thank you! I’ll look into the H.L. Day book and The Family Man. I’m always up for decent romantic suspense.

  4. C.J.Archer’s Dead Letter Delivery, fourth in the Glass Library series, coming out on March 5. The series is a mix of multiple sub-genres: historical, mystery, magic, romance. The mix is sufficiently interesting for me keep reading even though the romance part is really sslow….

  5. I give The Partner Plot very high marks. It’s a terrific second chance at love story. I am looking forward to the other Jennifer Ryan’s book The Underground Library. Also, Murder Road by Simone St. James.

  6. Oh, thank you for making the covers of the books big enough to read their authors! Any news about Loretta Chase–or is she still having writer’s block?

    1. I am on her mailing list.
She finished the 3rd book of her series! Around the end of the year, I think.
It is now in all the steps to publication so it will take a while, but it is born, so to speak :))))

        1. It is book 3 of her series on Dukes.

So we actually know a lot. Who the main couple are, that they are married but estranged, and some bits and pieces from the other books.

But she did super good in only giving glimpses, so we do not really know what happened and why, and we have nearly nothing about the heroine, she really „stays in the shadows“ in the other books.

          1. I think people just want to know WHEN it will come out. They’ve been waiting over three years now!

  7. For M/F books, I’ll get Storms and Secrets by Claire Kingsley, although I have to say that I thought the first book in the series was only OK. Like DiscoDollyDeb, I’m also interested in The Scoring Secret by Ainsley Booth.

For M/M books, I join everyone who is excited about The Unforgettable Hookup by Jax Calder. Like CarrieG, I am also interested in Annabeth Albert’s Up All Night – she is really such a solid author. In addition, I am interested in Mike Bravo Ops: Zeus by Eden Finley and Mr. Important by Lucy Lennox and May Archer.

    1. I just finished Falling for Raine by Lane Hayes which you might enjoy. It came out at the end of Feb. I got it on a whim, but I thought it was better than a lot of CR right now. Nothing terribly original, but I liked the characters and the execution. It’s a solid B.

      1. Lane Hayes is another solid author for me. She has a large catalog so I haven’t read all of her books but I have read many. I like some of her older series more than the most recent ones, especially the Better Than and A Kind Of series and the earlier Out of College books. However, I did buy Falling for Raine when it came out and look forward to reading it. Thanks for letting me it’s good!

        1. I recently listened to Next Season, which is about an injured hockey player who goes to a small town to recuperate and falls for the local chef. It was nice and undemanding – the excellent narration by Nick J. Russo was a big plus.

          1. I also read the first in that series, You, Again, and it was also delightful. I’d read it again when I’m looking for an undemanding but satisfying read. I actually liked it a smidge more than Next Season.

          2. I also liked You, Again a bit better than Next Season but overall I am not loving this series. It feels like she is jumping on the hockey sports romance bandwagon and adding it to a small town just doesn’t quite work for me. I liked her just previous series The Script Club (nerd/jock romances) a little better but still not as much as the Better Than and A Kind Of series.

  8. There was a list somewhere of books to read if you love Miss Scarlet and the Duke and both Elizabeth Everett and Deanna Raybourn were on it. The Elizabeth Everett sounds fun.

I’m curious if anyone as read any of the Cynster Next Gen books? I feel like her writing evolved and not in a good way. I gobbled down the first 15 Cynster books and the Bastion Club series. Then she added to the Cynsters and those were not great. And then the Black Cobra Quartet which i HATED. After that I gave up on Stephanie Laurens. I’m not sure if it’s worth going back there again.

    1. I realized I hadn’t checked the reviews here but no Stephanie Laurens books have been reviewed since 2019 so I must not be the only one who’s given up on her!

      1. Um… nope, not just you! I reviewed her once or twice here quite a few years ago, but I just couldn’t be doing with the ridiculously overblown prose.

  9. I have a few books on my radar for March – Lady Charlotte Always Gets Her Man by Violet Marsh, The Love Remedy by Elizabeth Everett, Flirty Little Secret by Jessica Lepe, The Boyfriend Subscription by Steven Salvatore, and A Governess’s Guide to Passion and Peril by Manda Collins – so 3 hist roms and 2 contemps

      1. oh too bad! I picked it up at Netgalley a few months ago, I just haven’t had the chance to read it yet.
