I feel that it is fairly reasonable, given the decades and the consistency of choices to say the books that have appeared again and again are a valid definition of the romance canon.
If I didn’t mess up my searches, I’ve read 57 of these books, one was a DNF (which I do very rarely), and most of the rest are in my tbr shelves and files (which keep growing).
A list list!! Thank you. Have read most of these books in my 35+ years of reading romance. I will miss AAR very much. Feels like an end to an era. It’s taken me a few weeks to process. Thank you Dabney and team. I will miss this community.
