Alex Stanton just inherited a dukedom but his true passion is uncovering charlatans and frauds wherever he finds them. Spiritualist and medium Evangeline “Evie” Jones is the biggest fake of all and he’s determined to expose her lies for all of London to see. Her prim manner and ladylike airs don’t fool him. He sees…
Today, in the U.S., hundreds of thousands of Valentine’s Day cards will be exchanged. Americans will spend close to thirty billion dollars on Valentine’s Day gifts. Close to 300 million roses were grown just for this day. Scores of lovers will pick today to propose to their intended and many will feel, even if they…
AAR typically gets its review books from two places: Edelweiss and Netgalley. I love pursuing these lists. I see upcoming books that mystify me–The Ten Best Kentucky Derbys! How to Date A Foreigner!–as well as those I wouldn’t read unless bribed. Most books I just glance and the cover, title, and genre and don’t bother…

Wow! I voted for the winner but never expected it would be the one. Look forward to reading it and the discussion next month.
For any audio listeners out there, I think this one is even better (and I would give it an A in book form) in audio! So good.
With Nicholas Boulton as narrator,I can only imagine!
I am excited about this one although all three are books I’ve enjoyed.
I actually own this and have never read it yet so I’m excited. I really would have been happy with most of the choices offered. I haven’t read a good Medieval story in quite a while so I have high hopes for this one! Looking forward to the discussion!
I love a good Medieval!
I’m looking forward to reading, well listening, to this again and participating in the discussion.
I lost track of time for this! Let’s discuss it on December 9th!
Works for me.
I had all three of the series in the cloud and thanks to the coming discussion I reread all three and enjoyed them more the second time around!see you on December 9th.
