Last night, as I was tried to fall asleep, I was distracted. I was, I realized, irate. I’d just stayed up past my bedtime reading a book by an author whose books I have loved. This one, well, I wouldn’t say I hated it but I just about did. Now reading books I don’t like…
Last week’s ask column irked many. One reader emailed me to tell me I was off base in my comments, another cancelled her financial support of AAR, and several others got close to testy in the comments. I thought it would be interesting to pull up some older conversations at AAR and see how or…
To be honest, my reading slacked off a lot in 2015. I usually read half again as much as I did this past year, a lot of which were forgettable at best, and absolute stinkers at worst. I didn’t have a “favorite romance published in 2015!” book this year, though there were a few that…

It was, however, always a traditionally leaning organization. In this century, they…
I recently ran a report at Google Analytics to look at what are the most read pages at AAR. It was somewhat surprising and very interesting. This report is from the past three months but these same pages show up on the report for the past year. In the past three months AAR had 443,750…
Wow! I voted for the winner but never expected it would be the one. Look forward to reading it and the discussion next month.
For any audio listeners out there, I think this one is even better (and I would give it an A in book form) in audio! So good.
With Nicholas Boulton as narrator,I can only imagine!
I am excited about this one although all three are books I’ve enjoyed.
I actually own this and have never read it yet so I’m excited. I really would have been happy with most of the choices offered. I haven’t read a good Medieval story in quite a while so I have high hopes for this one! Looking forward to the discussion!
I love a good Medieval!
I’m looking forward to reading, well listening, to this again and participating in the discussion.
I lost track of time for this! Let’s discuss it on December 9th!
Works for me.
I had all three of the series in the cloud and thanks to the coming discussion I reread all three and enjoyed them more the second time around!see you on December 9th.
